We offer scientists of the MPG select programs for the further development and incubation of research results as well as the promotion of innovative spirit.
We advise you on the funding instruments and choose the most suitable support instrument for the project together with you. Some of these programs have been developed jointly by our team.
Incubation of inventions
Lead Discovery Center
The aim of the LDC is to transform promising research projects professionally into the development of innovative medicines and better utilize the potential of excellent fundamental research in the search for new therapies for diseases with high medical need.
Research financing
TT translational funding
The technology transfer translational fund finances the further validation and development of early inventions. It is primarily meant to establish a basis for better commercialization opportunities. The funds are requested directly via Max Planck Innovation.
Establishing innovation potential
VIP+ program
The routes from research to market can be made shorter and faster. The BMBF funding measure “Validation of the technological and social innovation potential of scientific research - VIP+” is applied here.
